In conjunction with the opening of the new CyberDome Theater show Black Holes, University of Arizona astronomer, author and black hole expert Dr. Fulvio Melia will be presenting a lecture about black holes February 18 at 1pm, featuring his own research into these mysterious objects. Visitors will be treated to a screening of the new CyberDome show Black Holes, followed by the talk with Dr. Melia which will feature a question and answer session. A book signing with Dr. Melia will follow, featuring his works The Edge of Infinity: Supermassive Black Holes in the Universe and The Black Hole at the Center of Our Galaxy .
Regular CyberDome admission will apply: $4.00 (5-15), $5.00 (16-64), $4.50 (65+), with discounts with the purchase of exhibit admission.
