Alan Stern, Principal Investigator of the New Horizons mission now enroute to Pluto, will give a lecture at KU to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Clyde Tombaugh’s birth. The lecture will be in Kansas Union’s Alderson Auditorium at 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 4.
Following Stern’s lecture, there will be star and planet telescope viewing on the hill near Memorial Stadium, weather permitting.
